| Water the clearest
most vivid, electric blue-green, friendly, colorful tropical fish, mysterious
corals, and a deepening blue beyond is what you'll see when you dive Molokini
crater.
If you're lucky you might see a reef shark, they say. I got "lucky" and saw one swimming off by the coral. Of course, it was HUGE and took my breath away! But then, things do link different underwater. It was probably pretty small as sharks go. It was sure a lot smaller than the sharks we used to see off my dad's fishing boat off the north coast of California. I didn't swim too close to check it out though, preferring to give it a respectable distance. This is surreal I thought. Am I dreaming? From up above it looked like things might be somewhat lack luster below a slightly choppy sea, but underwater ... wow, everything seemed to glow like it was electric. Stunningly beautiful! |
