After visiting the big cities of Berlin and Danzig/Gdansk and seeing so many fascinating things it was nice to just relax a bit in the Baltic Sea resort of Travemuende.

We had the most wonderful meal near the beach in at the Passatwind. We enjoyed walking along the harbor see the old sailing ships and watching the ferries heading to Sweden and Finland.

The beach sand was remarkable fine and white.
